Last week, a car slammed into an East Asheville home. According to WLOS ABC News Channel 13, the incident happened sometime before midnight on Old Farm School Road at the intersection of Botany Drive and Lower Grassy Branch Road. A local couple, Frank and Judy Brown, had just turned in for the night when the car came crashing into their bedroom.

The crash was described as deafening, and there was debris everywhere. Frank Brown was knocked out of the bed by the impact, and Judy was covered in debris. Thankfully, they escaped with reportedly minor injuries. The driver, 37-year-old Chrisshaun Young, was charged with driving on a suspended license, hit and run and leaving the scene of a crash.
