On Sunday, there was a crash involving a truck and a camper trailer in Asheville. According to WLOS ABC News Channel 13, the incident happened in the eastbound lanes of I-40 at about 1:17 p.m. Although very few details have been released, initial reports indicate that a camper trailer came unhitched from a truck around mile marker 47. The camper trailer ran off onto the shoulder of the roadway.

First responders, including police officers, rushed to the scene. Thankfully, no serious injuries were immediately reported in this crash. There has been no word on whether or not any other vehicles were involved or if drivers in the vicinity were able to avoid the loose camper trailer.
