Earlier this week, a car crash took power lines out in Buncombe County. According to WLOS ABC News Channel 13, the incident happened on Monday morning, just east of Asheville, near Pheasant Ridge Road. For currently unknown reasons, an SUV overturned beside the roadway and took out multiple power lines.

Portions of the roadway were closed until the afternoon hours as crews worked the scene. At this time, very few details have been released about the crash or how many vehicles were involved. Also, there has been no word on whether or not anybody was injured in the crash. The cause of this wreck is likely still under investigation with local law enforcement authorities.
