Truck Accident Investigations

In accident cases involving commercial trucking vehicles, it’s not uncommon to have multiple investigative agencies working at the same time. In addition to the traditional rules of the road, truck drivers also have to comply with regulations set forth by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA). Since these vehicles are so much larger and heavier than other cars and trucks on the road, it’s essential to determine exactly what happened to cause an accident. If drivers or trucking companies were negligent in any way, investigators need to find out.
