On Sunday morning, a box truck drove into a mobile home in Asheville. According to WLOS ABC News Channel 13, the incident happened near North Louisiana Avenue. For currently unknown reasons, the box truck was being recklessly driven in a residential area prior to crashing through a guardrail and hitting the side of the mobile home. There was a family inside of the home at the time of the crash.
The home slid off of the foundation and the doors were blocked shut by the impact of the crash. Thankfully, no serious injuries were reported on the scene. The truck driver was transported to the hospital for treatment of non life-threatening injuries, and that person was charged with careless and reckless driving.
