Over the weekend, a boat came loose from a truck on I-26. According to WLOS ABC News Channel 13, the incident happened on Saturday afternoon near the Broadway Street Exit. Although very few details have been released, initial reports indicate that the straps holding the boat on the truck broke and the boat fell into the roadway. The boat had traffic backed up for over an hour and a half.
Thankfully, no serious injuries were reported on the scene, and authorities were able to move the boat out of the roadway safely. No information has been released on whether or not any citations have been issued.
